Shelter Distribution Box - SDBThe new UEC model 610-5001-1499 pole mounted shelter distribution box (SDB) provides safe and reliable power distribution. The SDB has a 60-amp, 208-volt, 3-phase inlet with a 60-amp, 208-volt, and 3-phase feed-through outlet. The three-phase power is broken into (8) 120-volt, 1-phase, 20 and 10-amp branch circuits, protected with hydraulic magnetic circuit-breakers within the box. There are (2) 20-amp GFCI duplex receptacles, (4) 20-amp 2P/3W 125V Mil-Style receptacle connectors, and (2) 15-amp 125V 2P/3W Mil-Style receptacle connector light circuits protected at 10-amps. The two light circuits are controlled via (2) one for each circuit single pole toggle switches. Every circuit has a amber power indication light for easy user interface.
The UEC SDB is an upgrade to the pole mounted Type III utility box NSN 6110-01-251-0402 with an integrated multi-meter. The multi-meter reads phase to phase voltage, line to neutral (single phase), average voltage, current per phase and phase to neutral and average current. Also reads 50 or 60 hertz and has a counter for time unit has been operating. This multi-meter allows the user to monitor the power quality from the power supply without leaving the shelter area and also ensures load balance across the three phases. This SDB is also available with 100-amp inlet, outlet.
